Andrew Keen’s book The Internet is Not the Answer is a polemical call for regulation - well argued even if you don’t agree. There is a very good audio podcast with the author - about 40 minutes well worth listening to at The internet is not the answer – Tech Weekly podcast.

David Weinberger is another good writer and thinker — his recent book Too Big to Know is also interesting — all lots of videos of him doing talks online.
