The exposition Infinite Sequence at the Fundació Joan Miró, Barcelona, is an exhibition of work by Ignasi Aballí, winner of the 2015 Joan Miró Prize.
The last piece in this exposition is Repainting Miró. Presented in a projection room it features “his video work on processes of semantic slippage.” It is hard to describe this piece, but essentially there are two projections showing the same scene, but each taken from a different angle and distance, and out of time (by about 30 seconds). Deceptively simple, yet mesmerising.
