My degree award arrived in the post some weeks ago. It was damaged (bent as a banana). It was duly sent back to UAL for replacement. They sent out the replacement by courier. It arrived, this time only slightly bent, but with TNTs footprints on it. After a frank discussion, where I extolled the virtue of shipping stuff in adequate protection, where a flimsy single-sided cardboard envelope does not equate to a sufficient level of adequacy, they shipped a new one out. Again, using TNT, it arrived, and was somewhat banana-shaped, but because somebody listened (like they had a choice!) they had put it in an envelope with four layers of cardboard to protect it (two in front, and two behind), it was found to be intact.
And now the final bureaucracy has commenced: having my MA recognized and inscribed into the academic register in Luxembourg.
Update: My MA has been recognized and inscribed into the academic register in Luxembourg.comments powered by Disqus
