Thoughts
Following on from the earlier experiments in overprinting — Sequent 11 and Sequent 12 — there are four possibilities in how the two juxtaposed colourfield interact (a manifestation of hybridity):
- A mixture of overlapping and “air-gap” – inclusion and exclusion, (repulsion?)
- An “air-gap” — complete exclusion (repulsion?).
- A continuous band of overlap — inclusion, no exclusion
- Touching, no overlap, no “air-gap”, an inflection point (about to include or exclude?)
