For one of my previous pieces — Asset #57410 — I used a small sample of green wool fiber.
As this came out better than I had expected I have ordered some skeins of it so I that can produce a large piece. The wool is now being custom blended prior to spinning, and it looks fantastic. The majority (about 70%) is kelly green, and the remainder a mixture of bottle green and lime green. Blending three colors together should produce a unique and interesting variegation. Although the fiber is predominately green, there is also some other colors in there, which subtly modify the color field when spun.
